Calm a sore throat with licorice root and slipper elm bark with this soothing blend, full of warming ginger, cinnamon and aniseed. Often called sweetwood, licorice contains an alkaloid called glycyrrhizin which is 50 times sweeter than sugar. This tea is full of anti-inflammatory and immune boosting ingredients.

How to make
Steeping:1 teaspoon per cup
5-10 min. @ 212°F/ 100°C
Making a decoction of this tea on the stove is the preferred method over steeping. 1 teaspoon in a metal strainer per 8oz of water. Gently heat to a simmer. Cover and simmer on low for 5-10 minutes to desired strength.
